Cascara, which means "husk" in Spanish is created from dried coffee cherries. Like so many other beautiful and useful things in our world, the cherry husk has traditionally been discarded one the coffee beas was extracted. However, as is fitting of L!VE Cafè, we wish to preserve this fruit and celebrate its sweet, fruity notes it has to offer, plus, an 8oz. glass has the same amount of caffeine as an espresso, so it's sure to pack a powerful punch! Reminiscent of both tea and coffee, cascara offers the best that both worlds have to offer. Filled with natural sugars, vitamins, oils, and antioxidants that come from the skin and pulp of the coffee cherry, there is much to be enjoyed from a cup of cascara. Caliente o frio, que bueno!
